PERFORMING ARTS - THEATRE & DANCE
Woodlawn Farm Historic Site / Underground Railroad
Woodlawn is a historic home in Jacksonville, IL. Twice a year there are "bus tours" that visit the site. Woodlawn Farm provides costumes for the kids to dress up in and allows them to be interpreters at the historic site.
Improv Classes & Theatre Performances
JDCF has a small "STAGE" area that allows for small theatre productions.
There is stage lighting and it allows the kids the opportunity to practice their acting & improv skills.

Art of the "Un-Selfie"
Tiffany Warmowski, of Warmowski Photography, led the kids in a workshop teaching them that photos can be more than just "selfies". The kids learned how the right angle can make all the difference.

JDCF currently offers "DRUM" lessons.
Lessons are FREE, but you must reserve your spot as there is a limited number of drums available.

CLASS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
JDCF is always looking for CLASS SPONSORS.

If you or your business would like more information on HOW TO SPONSOR one of our classes, you can contact us at the email below.
For a set "fee", you can sponsor a class and provide TEN students in our community a free entrance to that class; that they may not have been able to afford to attend otherwise.
​
Sponsored students will be chosen by teachers at the area schools. We will rotate schools, and age groups, and make sure it is not the same students chosen each time. We want to give many students a chance to find their creative side.
